The Rapple
You want to be sure to head for the tent in the center of The Common on Apple Country Fair day. There you will find our Rapple which is one of our major fundraisers.
Over the years, the prizes have varied considerably. One thing that has remained constant is the generosity of local businesses to this cause. A sampling of some donations is: gift certificates, flowers/plants, furniture, tickets to plays/shows, memberships to museums, toys, home decorating items, and sporting goods. In addition, a print of An Apple a Day by Jacob Knight, and cash have been included. Every year, the quilt is one of the most popular prizes.
